Blaine keek hem aan. What was the best song that I have done?

Kurt glimlachte. "Well, you once sang 'when I was your man' to me to apologize after we once broke up. That was really good, and cute. But I think that teenage dream might have been my favorite."

Blaine knikte. Ik zou niet eens weten hoe die liedjes gaan, of van wie ze zijn.

Kurt keek een tikkeltje verbaasd op. "You don't remember Katy Perry?"

Blaine schudde zijn hoofd. Who is Katy Perry?

Kurt glimlachte. "Nevermind, it isn't really important."

Blaine glimlachte.

Kurt zuchtte even. "Okay let's see. So.. uhm.. you were my boyfriend. For a pretty long time."

Blaine knikte. Hoe hebben we elkaar ontmoet?

Kurt glimlachte. "We met when I transferred to Dalton, you showed me the way around."

Blaine keek hem aan. How romantic.

Kurt glimlachte. "Yeah.. It was."

Blaine glimlachte terug. How is your life now?

Kurt keek hem aan. "Not that great really. I mean.. I'm still at Dalton, but it's not the same without you. The warblers kind of hate me because I let them down during regionals. In total, I have one friend at Dalton at the moment."

Blaine probeerde zijn hand vast te pakken maar kreeg zijn arm niet verder omhoog. I'm sorry.

Kurt pakte zelf Blaine's hand vast, toen hij doorkreeg dat de jongen zijn hand niet verder op kon tillen. "It's okay. I'll survive somehow. I've been through worse."

Blaine zuchtte. Like what?

Kurt aarzelde even. "Well. I got bullied during most of my time on McKinley, before I transferred to Dalton. We at one point broke up because of one of my bullies, and eventually you started dating that bully," hij lachte even zacht. "Euhm. You cheated on me once. My mom passed away when I was much younger, my dad has cancer. My stepbrother died.."

Blaine staarde voor zich uit. Tjeez. I was a bad boyfriend, you don't deserve that.

Kurt schudde zijn hoofd. "You weren't. I mean, half of those things where my fault sort of. I made you angry at some times. You were the sweetest boyfriend I could ever imagine, Blaine."

Blaine glimlachte. My memories are gone but I know for sure that no matter what happens, I will never forget you.

Kurt glimlachte. "That's really sweet. And shows exactly why I loved you so much, and why I still do."

Blaine zuchtte. I just wish I could talk and walk.

Kurt slaakte een zachte zucht. "I wish you could too.. Has your mom already talked to you about next week?"

Blaine knikte.
