Kurt zuchtte. "I actually tried to change her mind," gaf hij toe. "But this is probably better.."

Blaine knikte. It is, I don't want to live like this.

Kurt keek hem aan. "Yeah.. I understand that.."

Blaine glimlachte zwak. You have to promise me one thing.

Kurt keek hem vragend aan. "What?"

Blaine zuchtte. That you will be happy again with someone else. Just like we were.

Kurt glimlachte zwak. "I'll try."

Blaine knikte. Good.

Kurt glimlachte licht. "Is there.. anything else you'd like to know?"

Blaine keek hem aan. Het is wel even genoeg voor vandaag.

Kurt knikte. "Yeah.. You're right.." Hij keek op de klok. "I should actually leave.."

Blaine knikte. Alright.

Kurt glimlachte hem toe. "I'll be back tomorrow, alright?"

Blaine knikte.

Kurt stond op en keek nog één keer achterom voordat hij de kamer weer uitliep.

Blaine viel in slaap.

Rachel stond bij haar kluisje.

Jesse liep op Rachel af. "So.. Why does such a pretty girl like you date a loser like Brody?"

Kurt liep Dalton in.

Rachel trok haar wenkbrauw op. "He's not a loser."

Elliot speelde wat op zijn gitaar.

Jesse keek haar aan. "I don't know what that guy has been telling you. But I can tell you one thing, Brody has always made me look like the bad guy. He told everyone I bullied him, that I pushed him around. Did he tell you that?"

Kurt liep op Elliot af. "You're really good."

Rachel knikte.

Elliot glimlachte. "Thanks. How are you?"

Jesse keek haar strak aan. "It's not true. None of that ever happened. Brody was, and still is, always looking for attention.."

Kurt haalde zijn schouders op. "I'm alright I guess. Talked to Blaine for a bit, which was.. kind of weird with him not recognizing me."

Rachel schuddde haar hoofd. "I don't believe you."

Elliot knikte. "It must be hard for you. I don't know what I have to say to you, so maybe I can sing it." Hij begon weer op zijn gitaar te spelen en zong keep holding on.

Jesse haalde haar schouders op. "It's the truth.. That's all I can say."

Kurt glimlachte breed.

Rachel zuchtte. "Now if you will excuse me, I have to go to the hospital."

Elliot was klaar met zingen.

Jesse keek haar kort aan. "Alright."

Kurt omhelsde Elliot. "You really are my best friend, you know?"
